As a celebrity speaker, I'm dedicated to inspiring audiences worldwide. Through engaging storytelling and insightful discussions, I leave a lasting impact on every event. My siblings and I have grown up in a screen free environment, with limited screen use and no personal smartphone till the age of 18. I am asked time and time again: "What do you do without social media or videogames or movies?" The simple answer is: I play with physical toys, read tons of books and have fun connecting with people face to face. That's why I have become a Literacy Champion for The National Literacy Trust; to inspire children to read for pleasure not just for school or because you have to. The shocking fact is that only about 1 in 3 (32.7%) of children and young people aged 8 to 18 say they enjoy reading in their free time and only 1 in 5 (18.7%) say they read something daily in their free time. ​Both these statistics are their lowest levels in twenty years*. That's where my books and podcasts come in. The Crazy Fruit Bunch started as a comic series I used to draw for my friends to try and distract them from talking about their 'favourite videogames'. It then went on to be an audiobook series, which was used for my radio show I have on a local community radio station. To find out more, head to the 'Books' page.
